- (iii) Protect the rights, property, or safety of Seamless Hosting, our clients, or the public.
4. Data Security, Retention, and Backups
- Security Measures: We use commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (such as encryption and access control) designed to protect your Personal Data. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems.
- Data Retention: We retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. We will also retain information necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g., billing records) and resolve disputes.
- Client Content (Backups): As outlined in Section 8 of our Terms of Service, you are solely responsible for maintaining your own independent backups. We are not responsible for data loss, and any courtesy backups we perform are for disaster recovery only and are not a substitute for your own data retention measures.
